Gearbox spitting out oil

Is it normal for a gearbox to spit out its vital fluids through the breather when thrashed! its a RS5F31A box in a X1R pulsar. When we take it to the track it ends up spitting oil out and last time I had to put another litre and a half in to get it back up to the right level!

Should it have a breather which catches the oil and drains back to the box!

A larger vent may be required. There must be a fair amount of heat/pressure being generated, so a larger vent with a hose so as you can fit the vent higher in the engine bay, and a catch can on the end so any fluids that make it up the hose don't fall onto the track.

You could also try a oil that can handle a higher pressure. Like a EPX 80w90
