Nissan Presea replacing headlight bulb

I've never done this before so any help will be appreciated :-)

The left headlight for my Nissan Presea (1996) has gone out. I want to replace the bulb and see if it fixes the problem. If it doesn't then I'll take the car to the mechanic.

Pop the bonnet and see if you can easily access/see the rear of the headlight.
Take a picture and post it up here and I will tell you how to remove and replace.
Its generally pretty simple and a 5min job depending how much space you have/what is in the way.

Thanks mate. I'll try that tonight.

You will need to remove the wiring plug first from the bulb, but before you do, you need to grasp it firmly to release the retainer clips within the plastic plug, then remove the rubber grommet, then push toward the bulb on the piece of wire you will see to unclip it, then remove the bulb.remember NOT to touch the new bulb glass with ya fingers at all.

As above, good luck.

Thanks for your posts. I haven't had a chance to do this although I really should as I am sure there is a cop waiting around a corner to nab me. :-(
