I'm looking at one that the ignition has stopped working on, for a project as a wee hack for the missus. Do these use coil packs for ignition or is the cause likely to be ECU related or even a cam belt "let go" possibly! Relating to a cam belt breaking are they Interference or Non Interference engines! This could be a nice wee project to puddle around with. Never had any experience on the type so just picking brains of those who have experience with them really is all. T.I.A.

Pfft more trouble than it's worth to try & do that, total waste of time besides rotaries are not my thing full stop. and you certainly haven'tanswered my question.
Doesn't give any specific info on being interference or not.

Hi Jason, How's things, I have since found out they are indeed interference engines .All the H versions are ie. 1000cc 1300cc and 1600cc The HC-E 1300cc I was mostly interested in.

can`t help you other than once you get it going they are brilliant little runabouts,run on next to nothing and go forever.
