Hi I think I have CDI issue with my 89 Yamaha XT350. Intermitant loss of power at moderate revs. Motorcycle shop suggest CDI but are apparently prefer to swap out unit as it is easier than testing the CDi unit. They want to try another 2nd hand one before either installing that or getting in a new one. I just want my bike running again, does anyone have a suitable CDI to try or even purcahse, or any other suggestions!

Go over all your electrical connections with a fine tooth comb, apart from that , have a look on Ebay USA.

Can somebody confirm that CDI units are different!I'd wager a fine feather that any 350 4stroke ignition would be useable and or proof enough.
