This is totally my own biased view.
But. The cons are you will end up with an American built pile of rubbish with left hand drive.
I guess the pros are, some of them looks nice.

Have a good look at what is available in N.Z. first though. There are some deals to be had depending on what you are looking for. I just brought another car here that would have cost more to import the same car from the US at the moment and you have the ability to check it over before you buy it. Be aware that some cars brought of the internet have not been exactly as described when they get here so do your home work first. Go to a few car shows or displays and talk to people who know of the pitfalls.
