stay clear of a1 radiators.no good at all.they run amile and deny any fault with them in the event of a probem.

+4 got 1 for the GTIR, its bigger than the standard one, well built, and MOST IMPORTANTLY is NOT made in CHINA.

Made in Taiwan, so close to China but not quite. A mechanic friend of mine said they actually make good car parts, nearly as good as Japan, so I brought it, seems to be ok. Is got a 27mm alu core, so alot bigger than standard 16mm core, one thing the GTIR needs is good cooling they run hot. Im currently looking for one for the Terrano as mines corroded and regulary springs pinhole leaks when towing, prob get one from them they have a few listed.

A bit late to the party, but I had my severely rusty radiator for my XC Fairmont recored at Silverdale Radiators, he suggested I replaced the side tanks, but I couldn't find any, so he cleaned them up and was able to reuse them. They looked brand new.
