Hey guys I've had a bit of a run with trade ins not running,not starting or cutting out intermittantly. This has been in cars fitted with 2000-2004 uniden/ mongoose M40 alarms. On every occasion removing the alarm has fixed the problem. This is purely a heads up based on my personal experience. I thought it might be of interest to the spanner men out there dealing with this sort of issue

I've dealt with a few Unidens where the Central locking has gone faulty and the Immobiliser has died completely.

I hate it when you work on a car and you need to disconect the battery and when you reconnect it the immobiliser kicks in, then the owner tells you they dont have an alarm remote.
Since the public registrations are closed, you must have an invite from a current member to be able to register and post in this thread.
