I'm guessing, but if 744 is the width in decimal inches it is quite a bit narrower than 215mm. Like just under seven and a half inches versus abouteight and a half inches.

744 is the overall diameter of a 255 70 r15 in millimeters

Not according to my chart.A 255 70 r 15 is739MM 744mm is 225/75R16, 265/45R20, 295/40R20
There is however a Kuho Powergrip 744 as a tyre brand/model.Is that perhaps where the RD744 15 comes from!

My chart is for normal road tyres so quite probable that a Duler would be larger.
