It's all to do with selling them off once they've clocked up enough kms. In Aussie the have red, yellow, green, white, blue marked cars, then you've got the mufti's on top of that.

I like the way it says "will depend on the success of the Commodore SV6". I guess they are referring to the assumtion it will be parked up a bit with electrical / driveline / interior trim falling off issues !

Red . stands a very good chance of working well. Remember when they painted some fire trucks bright reflective green . FAILED. Ppl noticed the old red trucks far more then the new bright green trucks

Great, so speedsters can see them even further away and slow down thus reducing chance of getting a ticket then speed up again once they out of eye and radar sight. besides alot of waikato crashes are because of drunk drivers and peanut brains overtaking at the wrong time. if one is that pissed and driving at 1-5am in the morning i don't think he or she cares any less what colour the cop car is.
