have taken to two different transmission repairers in the last 12 months and every time a charm it behaves and does all it is supposed to. I get behind the wheel pffft. it is okay around town, but when you hit the 100k on the open road it changes down mostly only once but other times it will do it several times and on these occasions it does not change back. if you dont restart the motor it is real sluggish on takeoff. its a 1997 mitzi chariot.both times at the transmission place they have overhauled it and have even put in a temporary computor behaves for them. but does it to me and when it changes down its sometimes quite violent! this car does my head in at times.

Its a old Mitsubishi. They are plagued with problems. Your only long term solution is to sell it.
