friendly_prawn, Jul 14, 8:11am
theres one under hotrods on trademe at the moment that has reached reserve, nowat $10500 and climbing.
Nice looking car too apart from the rediculous high rise manifold

etimret, Jul 14, 8:14am
Hi no its still standardcondition not hotted up

gunhand, Jul 14, 8:17am
Actually I take that back. Pretty much worthless these days being an odd ball an all, hard to get part for etc, Hows $1200 sound just so you dont have the burdon of it anymore.

friendly_prawn, Jul 14, 8:17am
if buying depending on what had been done to the hotted up one of course, I would probably pay more for an original tidy one that hasnt been messed with.

friendly_prawn, Jul 14, 8:19am
Hey thats a bit low.

I'll give you $1250 etimret.

etimret, Jul 14, 8:21am
$1200.00 sounds pretty good. is that just a deposit!grandads car from new but hes getting short in years left

gunhand, Jul 14, 8:22am
Its worth quite a penny now so dont let some shyester rip ya off. Start at $10k.
If its as good as ya say.

treachug, Jul 14, 8:25am
Yep $1200 deposit, I will pay the other $1200 balance when I come to pick it up, ok!
Short in years left! thats ok, I can move the seat back

Seriously, if its a tidy original example, like gunhand mentioned dont get lowballed. Its appreciating in value every year, slowly but surely

etimret, Jul 14, 8:26am
Thanks for the info i have no idea of value for it. i guess its worth somethingmore than i think its worth

gunhand, Jul 14, 8:28am
Very much so, all joking aside you have a good car on your hands. Any pics of it! many would like to see it here no doubt. Oh and keep it locked up.

+10000
If it's as tidy as you say I'm interested in it too.

xs1100, Jul 14, 10:00am
if its as genuine as you say make sure you market it internationally as well eg oz

locky6, Jul 14, 1:33pm
Photos would be nice.pretty please! Sounds quite a car, 10k easy.

noswalg, Jul 14, 7:47pm
come on now, whats grandads phone number! He must've paid around around $4000 for it new, so factor in some depreciation and I'd happily give him $2000 for it

jenny188, Jul 14, 10:51pm
How can it be appreciating! When brand new about $4000. For a brand new V8 Holden now , over 50k. Vehicle has gone from new price to 25% of new price. That's appreciation! Its valuable to a collector, and in their time were a top line model of a reasonable car. Good luck, if it goes on the market

myeh64, Jul 14, 11:01pm
my Mateinour holden club got 1,only done 46000 miles,All orig.Has won best orig brougham,Got itvalue,Its worth $29000.

trogedon, Jul 15, 1:10am
One sold at Turners classic auction in the late 90s. It had been owned by the (Anglican) Archbiship of Auckland. Low kms and like new. Don't know what it went for.so basically useless information.

gmphil, Jul 15, 1:35am
Nicecars had one am kickin myself lol

chebry, Jul 15, 5:51am
They werent popular new so by now must be getting scarce, its worth what somebody is willing to pay no more.

supernova2, Jul 15, 10:29am
Exactly, and some people would be prepared to pay quite a reasonable sum for a tidy one.

outbidyou2, Jul 15, 10:35am
Geez, one foot in the grave and sizing up the assets of estate. Flin kids. no matter how old
