what does this slide button thingy do on the left hand side inside the glove box. does any body know

Circle one! Be the boot opener wouldnt it. Thats the only button I can think of that are in the glove box of the VS commys.

you sure its a switch and not where a light would be in a flasher version like a filler piece of plastic but yeah boot opener only thing ive seen in a commy glove box of that era

nar its a ute so dosnt have a boot. and its not where a light should be because it already has a light and its on the floor of glove box

When you use the key to lock the glovebox, that is what stops you from opening it.

same glove box as a car has, so you have a button that does nothing.
