Blue rocker cover would be a 1970 onwards 3.3litre/200ci. But they can be repainted. Orange 4.1litre/250. A 170 should have a red rocker cover and a 200super pursuit should have a gold one. A silver rocker cover is a 3.6litre/221ci. an early pre-1970 engine will have a frost plug looking thing blocking off a hole that was for crank case ventilation on the very early ones. This is at the top front left side (right side when looking in the engine bay) Can I ask what it is in!
