or used radiators these days, and any idea of the approx cost for a 95 carby civic! I don't think the 'stop leak' products will work, the leak is quite severe.

Most of the time its the top tanks that crack especially the top. The top gets the hottest so it is more prone to cracking by expanding and contracting over the years. Expect to pay up to 200 ish depending where you go for a new top tank.

No, the top of the tank at the top of radiator because the top of the top tank is where it gets the hottest at the top of the top tank.

Most rads these days are side to side with abaffle in centreif its copperthey cansolder in new core , had1 whereidiot left out the baffle &near cooked themotor .

i do radiators at our workshop. havnt changed a tank or fitted a 2nd hand radiator for couple years now as new 1s are so damn cheap. 1 for your civic would be around $200 for a complete new radiator

Steve98h if you are around or anyone else in the radiator market, is it cheaper to repair a BH5 legacy radiator or buy new! cant find 2nd hand anywhere,
