was thinking of one of these cars for a family wagon 2006 onwards. anyone owned one of these or has some pros or cons!

The M5 with a V 10 was released as an estate. That will compete with the E55 but don't you mean RS6 not S6! I think you'd need the gruntier owdie doodie to stay with the E55 and M5

As far as family wagons go. Yep sure, they have the room to fit parents in the front and 3 kids in the back.
But . The realty of them is they're not really family cars. They are high performance, state of the art ( for their time ) 4 door sports cars in a family car body. The body size is really the only family aspect about them.
Of course they'll be nicer by many many many times, to drive than a 1970s big muscle car etc. But still wont be anything luxurious as far as ride comfort goes. These are cars, built to be able to,easily reach 250kmph ++.
Have you ever driven and E55 Kompressor or an RS6/RS4!
You'll either love them or hate them. Way better than any Holden or Ford though. So yeehah. Go for it! LOL
