Can I change my Hilux ute rego! Its about 200 dearer than my Landcruiser for some reason! It may be registered as a goods vehicle I suppose!

My Nissan Datsun ute is registered as Private Passenger and just cost $596.67 for 12 months! WTF is happening!

That wellside on the back is the killer. It deems it a goods vehicle, where has your landcrusher has seats which deems it a diesel car. (cheaper)

yup soon as you have a tray they deem that as commercial & you will b e carryingheavy loads to destroy the roads where a surf, terrano, pajero etc is deemed as a passenger car & cheaper rego, you can rego it as a farm vehicle but there is a limit on how many kms you may do from your front gate
