LOL, its never 4km/h. What they don't tell you is that their radar is only accurate to 3km/h thats why the odd number of 4km/h for a tollerance, its as low as they can go and still have a ticket stand up in court. So to spell it out plainly, 4km/h is often only 1km/h you flip a coin as to which way the radar is going to read as you go past.

The trouble with Governement departments like the Police is that they are not covered by the fair trading act.

If a private company omitted details like that (let alone told some of the complete nonsense the Police do when interviewed on T.V) they would be had for breach of the fair trading act.

I just can't believe that we have become so stupid as a nation as to broadcast, let alone believe that you can draw a conclusion from one weekend as to whether a speed enforcement measure has been effective. Especially as they completely ignore all other factors like weather, price of fuel etc.

We are just continually taken for fools, unfortunately though much of the population are fools and readily exploited by propaganda. To the point that they will even try and attack and discredit anyone who points out that they are buying into junk science, cheap manipulation and blatant lies.

Well, a $200 fine is still cheaper than 1 years registration.

Don't get caught more than once a year and you'll be saving money. Probably not your licence though lol.
