agree with air shocks, have always had them fitted to any vehicle I use for towing our caravans.

Interesting, I have a VZ Commodore and have been reading this debate with some interest (don't have a problem myself) however just wondering if someone can tell me why the towbar specifications are different between a manual & automatic! Thanks

I remember inold days could buy a set oflight dutycoil over spings that clamped on the shocksused to have them on CNG cars that had twin underfloor taks .But these days probably have to get engineers certificate for themif they are still sold .

Those asterx on the name plate might mean you have to have certain equipment to meet this rating. Must read the small print somewhere. cheers.
