I had noticed over the last couple of years that I often see Mazda 6's with one headlight out. Drove from Wellington to Hamilton yesterday and because of the weather conditions most cars had headlights on. Several of the "one eyed" cars we saw were Mazda 6s. Any Mazda 6 owners had an issue with blowing bulbs! My traveling companion and I wondered if Mazda got a faulty batch of headlight bulbs at some stage during the 6s model run.

its really common for the early 6's with hid lamps to blow their ignition ballast on the left side

+1 easy to upgrade to good quality generic ballasts
