silly question but were do you put it! Never done it before, found the dipstick. its a isuzu bighorn!

Assuming its an auto because manuals dont usually have a dip stick. Put the oil down the dipstick tube. Will need a long pointed funnel. Be sure you put the right oil in it.

^^ And be sure you know how to check the level, trans warm or cold, engine running in P or D (with handbrake on) etc.

I just have gearbox oil, thought that its all the same, its a diesel, auto.

gearbox oil will destroy an automatic transmission.
