You need to do a course, depending on if you want to drive a taxi or a bus you may need to get area knowledge certs. Then apply to nzta to get the endorsement. Off the top of my head the course for P endorsement and log books is about $200 and to get the P endorsement on your licence is $120 for a year or $500 ish for 5 years. (But that maybe a few years out of date)

Don't forget the police check. Budget around $1000 for it.

Not sure what it would cost to get but it still costs $100 a year approximately to keep current plus medical certificate every five years.
Since the public registrations are closed, you must have an invite from a current member to be able to register and post in this thread.
