Engine flush - worth it or not?

I think its worth putting the money towards a better quality oil. I have always used quality oil in my vehicles and never had any problem with sludging in any of them. Even though I only change at manufacturers recommended intervals and with some of my modern stuff that is 30'000 - 40'000km.

I prefer to run fully Synthetic where appropriate but have always got on well with magnatec too which I have used from the day it came to market.

In the case of that engine, you'd be safer to remove and flush the "dribble holes" from the tube, or replace the tube.Vaguest recollection that they were quite cheap just to buy new!
