Maintained correctly and they are fine. Abuse them by putting in wrong fluid, or leaving too long between services (like 100,000km or more) then they are prone to failure.

Trouble is with a used car you just never know aye, unless there are receipts it didnt happen

Buy a CVT car with high k's.shame cavaliers didnt come out with CVT, would be the perfect car
