Looking for a car and I have now contacted 3 places which have one that sounds suitable listed and all 3 say "oh sorry that particular one has sold but I've got x and y and z "Is this a ploy to keep a 'good' sounding vehicle listed to lure buyers in.One has been there 2 days since I was told it was sold - a couple of hours maybe - but 2 days!

Yeah, you gotta wonder if the car even existed.
