thanks 4 this but a bit complicated 4 70 yr old to follow does anyone know of a merc mechanic in canterbury-otago,even a retired one who would do this for $$$$$ payment.

Have you tried Otago Auto Trimmers in Dunedin! I think they'll cope with all manner of sunroof repairs and installations. 0-3-477 2915
