E1 is correct, but I'm betting it's a forklift engine, look at the engine mounting plates.

bmc 970s engine, very common, and worthless really, give you $ 20 for it

Look at the pics again, I doubt a BMC engine would have Nissan cast on the side of the block.

This is the engine that everyone is thinking of when they say that the nissan A-series is a copy of the BMC engine.

well,. turns out you really don't know your engines, my post was a leg pull,heres a guess john boy,someone will correct me if i'm wrong, but in mint condition $ 5000 would be a bargin
