Most common on them, faulty coil, spark plug (or both! Quite often coil will fail due to worn plug), dirty throttle body, fuel filter or fuel pump (low fuel pressure), have also seen a few skip a tooth on the cam/timing chain which can cause similar fault.

Forgot to also mention it is common for the Intake Manifold gasket to leak on them too
