from what I have found it says to use gas that has a rating of 87 or higher which I assume is 91 at the least and you can also use 95

91 is the fuel companys dumping ground for all their rubbish and bad mixes. I wouldn't use 91 for anything.

no subaru runs good on 91 no car is actuarly made to run 91 , some just manage to retard the timing enough to run on the crap. the rest slowely gets destoyed be the loosers filling the crap in the tank saving 2$ at the pump and burning 8 bux more fuel over a tank then if they spent the money on 96 .
