sounds to me hes getting 80kms for $50 ! if so my Falcon is bloody great I get 200kms for $50 around town, better out on the open road,

done that, full service, oil filters etc etc had the scan tool on it with no faults checked under the car & fuel lines no leaks it does go gutless sometimes on roundabouts all I have to do is give the throtal a kick & it takes off again

Is the suzuki a 1600 auto! if so my daughter was just saying it cost her about $40/100kmswith the overdrive turned on.

make sure that you havnt put it into 4wd as this will suck the gas on these things, also have you changed plugs/air filter and what conditon is the catalylc converter like! we removed the one from my daughters and just have a straight pipe as the converter had collasped inside and was making the car use more gas.

Well something is wrong if it dies and you gott to kick the accelerator down to make it go, go and get someone to give it a tune up. spent $200 then you might save it back.

Did you do the service or was it done at a garage if not you check the air filter a lot think a full service is an oilchange and a filter. Is it carbed or injected if injected get some injector cleaner

has the oxygen sensor failed!
Pull out the plugs, if they look nice and tan colour then chances are it is not engine related. If they are all black and sooty then definetely an engine management issue.

I did the service my self changed oil fuel air filters changed plugs leads oil etc still bogs on right hand corner (roundabout) put scanner on no faults
