The radiator fans in my car have stopped working and the mechanics working on it have advised apparently there is no signal going through to make them operate .any ideas as to what may be causing this !

No signal, Maybe replace the temp sensor thing that sends the signal!

Yep, as above, faulty temperature sensor. You could temporarily unplug it and bridge the wires in the connector, that will bring the fans on all the time.
