I drive my car holden vx with the power button on all the time! I just think it feels wierd with it off, because of it changing through gears so quickly

No problem at all. Power button usually delays gear changes.

It wont hurt it it just uses more fuel and makes it more fun to drive

Yer only allowed to use the power button 3 times a day.

whats the point in a holden having a power button!

You shouldn't ask an old man about modern cars, you'll get advice 50yrs out of date. One I heard was about using engine braking to save wear on brake pads!!! Stress out a $5K engine or a $2K gearbox to save a pair of $80 brake pads! No thanks. Some of the cars I drive at work have carbon-ceramic discs and race spec pads - more than up to the job of slowing the car.

what are you trying to say!

they need a power button so they canpass bicycles.

Those things are fairly gutless and letting them rev harder before shifting lets the driver think he has a grunty car, as the tdi 4 banger blows you into the weeds.
