Mazda bounty or 2.8 turbo trition dc ute 2000-2006

looking to buy one of these to use for a bit of off road,and boat towing,my boat weighs 1750 kg and is about 6.3 metre hardtop,not huge distances 80 km round trip sort of thing,any horror storys about bounty gearbox`s and diffs!seem to be good value,on paper the triton has more power and torque,but the mazda seems cheaper,prefer answers from people with experience with these vehicles,cheers

triton i meant,i think a "trition" would be very rare.

Bounty gearbox is better than Triton's, just don't tow in 5th gear and don't overheat its engine. Mitsubishi also has weaker steering and suspension components and a shit turning circle, but has better front and rear diffs. Both utes are good, but I'd go for the Mazda.

I would go for a nissan navara ventura 3.2 turbo if you can find one.
