Under acceleration there is a slight splutter just before it changes up a gear. Is a later model low mileage car that is auto.What might be causing this!Want to know a bit more before it goes in to be sorted out. Thanks.

What year/model and what Auto is in it! (4/5/6spd)!
Does it do it all the time or just under full throttle!

2010 model, 6 spd auto, happens under full acceleration off the line when in performance mode.Only do occassionally and happens just before changing up to 2nd and 3rd.Someone mentioned something about it being called 'farting, and it is done by the ECU when under acceleration to take pressure off the auto!

Some women do this and some don't I hear. Best to get it checked. As you were.
