Does anyone know what cause the drivers door ajar warning to stay on? It's not the door switch. I'm hoping it's not the body computer output latched on. Any ideas?

Probably faulty door switch or faulty wire, take the switch out and test the wiring, will be basic stuff that age.

yea i doubt it be having any body computers in a 89 model. could be some wizbang relay trick stuff they used some of that before they used computers to do the jobs sometimes.
