Tyre size help

hi i have a topagee camper and the tyres are getting perished. I was wondering if anyone on here knew what the metric equivalent of 5.20-10 would be. Theres not a lot of clearance

Looks like it's 165/70/10

Here's a conversion chart.

No its 145r10. Standard Mini tyre.

That size is on the chart too. Thought that would be useful to keep for future reference.

That's the true size and from my recent search for a couple they are a bit hard to find these days.

You have to deal with the right people, I think Kumho still make them. They can be ordered.

Plenty of 145R10's around, but I could only find Yokohama & Falken doing 165/70/10's. Kumho do a well priced 145R10 that lasts quite well, I would go Falken in 165 as the Yoko is a bit softer which you don't really need on a trailer.

My garden trailer was designed for 5.20-10 crossply tyres. Some 145R10 are too wide to clear the chassis rails. Dont know how much clearance the topagee has but I'd be checking carefully no matter what radial is fitted.

I found a couple of King Tyre 145R10 that are actually the same cross section as the 5.20-10 crossply retread that's still on the spare.

As for getting them to order - not an option in Rotorua. Standard answer - what's size again? - nah bro aint got a listing for that!
