how do you remove them from an allow block ? (safely ) what sort of sealant do you use on replacements ?

You can drill holes in them and cut them carefully and then pull them out do not mark the block . Not normal to use a sealant on replacement them unless there is corrosion in the block around the seating area .

Extention and hammer to knock them side ways. Pilars to pull them out. Socket to tap them in. I use shlack (sp) to seal them

Yep always done them like that. It's just that last 'tap' you have to watch so you don't drop the bstard down the gallery
