Hi all, replaced the fuel filter in my 2005 Hyundai getz (internal tank filter) with an aftermarket filter and the car wouldn't start. Fuel was definitely pumping through it, and there was no air in the fuel line.
In the end we put the old filter back in and the car started first pop. What are the chances of the filter being faulty? Or is it more likely to be installer error?
Thanks :)

Check the sizes I had problems with an aftermarket fuel filter and it turned out it was not the correct size for the vehicle .

What was the reason for changing it in the first place? Intank filters aren't normally a service item.
