I have had the black coating problem on mine and I went and bought some mat Black modelers paint in the small tins and a very fine brush and touched the marks up but I do know some new ones are appearing through normal use . You can buy new parts to replace the worn items off ebay i.e around the light switch for about $35 us + freight Is it worth It ?
