Any suggestions for what to use under a motorcycle

centrestand in a garage. Bunnings have a selection of mats around 14m thick. There is an interlocking one which will protect the painted floor from when it rocks on and off the stand. HAs anyone tried anything else?

Do you center stand in all the time? Find a bit of panel steel then, ya wont wear that out in a hurry. Or do you want something as long as the bike?

Piece of sheetmetal. Aluminium 2 mm thick. Stick it down with sealant of some sort maybe.

A small piece of thin ply wood has work well for me in the past.

Use the side stand.

Maybee too simple--Why not just buy a small can of floor paint and touch up the floor once in awhile.?

As said above, bit of ply

I was thinking the same , like what's the big deal . If you want to sell your house or keep the landlord happy paint would be the answer . I cant see why a small square of carpet wouldn't last for quite some time . A car mat should be ideal for heavy use .

Glue some rubber or soft engineering plastic to feet of stand?

Custom leather booties for the feet even, for that extra bling factor .

I have always simply used a 2 x 1 foot sheet of plywood when needed to stop damage to concrete

Plastic/nylon(?) chopping board from a $2 shop.
