Drove from Wellington up SH1 yesterday, prices for 91 were
Wellington thru to Paraparaumu, $1.92.9
Otaki $1.84.9
Levin $1.73.9

How come Levin is 19 cents cheaper than Wellington?
My only guess is Levin has a Gull station

countrypete, Apr 15, 10:16pm

joanie04, Apr 16, 8:08am
Still a $1.92 in Kaitaia

bigmuz1, Apr 16, 8:19am
I'll be only buying enough gas in Welly to get to Levin in future on any trips up the line.

kenw1, Apr 16, 8:23am
$1,62 at Mobil in Whangarei tonight.

When you think about Auckland, Million Dollars for a house, high petrol prices, crazy commute. You should be paid to live there,

mals69, Apr 16, 9:01am
61 cents gold coast

esky-tastic, Apr 16, 9:16am
$1:30 in Brissy

Gold Coast price must be for LPG.

easygoer, Apr 16, 9:35am
Went up 3 cents at Z in Dinsdale, Hamilton today, is it a coincidence as the Government ACC levies are about to change and they will be removing 3 cents per litre soon

mber2, Apr 17, 4:13am
Thats good.
every time we need gas we can all just head ove rto the Gold Coast and fill up then come back to good old NZ

mber2, Apr 17, 4:16am
I havent seen anything about the levy coming off petrol but yes BP added another 2 cents today and some have followed.
I cant see how it is justified when the dollar is stil around 75 cents and oil is still about 56 dollars the same as it has been for about 3 months
Maybe Cadbury have put up the price of choccy bikkies and they need some for the smoko room so they increase the price of petrol to pay for them

mals69, Apr 17, 5:10am

stevo2, Apr 17, 6:00am
Tauranga today.
Gull Hewletts rd 91 = 1.789 Diesel = 99.9c
z 15th ave 91 = 1.889 diesel = 1.229
Not a lot in it for 91 but huge difference for diesel.

joanie04, Apr 17, 6:13am
Z up 2 cents today here to $1.94. Apparently it went up yesterday according to the boy there.

compaq5, Apr 17, 8:08am
Diesel prices in Paraparaumu, the fuel four stations, 19 cents above Otaki ?

Two words spring to mind,COINCIDENCE! or COLLUSION?!What say you
Why SUPPORT THEM.

thewomble1, Apr 17, 3:19pm
If you are in Australia

thewomble1, Apr 17, 3:21pm
Last time i went thru Levin Gull was 2c cheaper than Z.

bigmuz1, Apr 17, 7:14pm
Because unless you're going to Otaki anyway, most of the savings in filling up would be lost in the extra driving to get there.

kcf, Apr 18, 1:26am
I stopped in Levin for petrol on the way to and from Taupo over the weekend. I was a bit sad to discover that the stations I stopped in (BP going North, Caltex going South) had cheap prices only for 91 octane. The 95 was basically the same price as in Wellington (maybe 2c cheaper at Caltex?).

So the competition there is only for the stuff I can't run in that car anyway! D'oh.

sharchew, Apr 21, 2:35am
$2.65 at Stuart Island

neell, Apr 21, 3:35am
NEVER use BP, they are the first to increase and last to decrease prices. Thieving mongrels
