Service is straightforward, nothing complicated, parts can be expensive. Automatic transmissions can play up so keep that serviced regularly. Good luck.

My wife drives a 2002 Pug 307. Hers is the 2L petrol Manual. We are very happy with it and it drives very well, despite what Clarkson says about them! To be honest I would avoid an automatic, they just don't seem to have the legs. As above servicing is pretty standard stuff and parts are readily available. If you are not servicing yourself, make sure to use an independent pug specialist for maintenance, not the franchise dealer. Same goes for parts, although usually the best deal is to import your own via the likes of ebay. You can access all the info and part numbers for your specific car by signing up to servicebox.

How many km and what sort of money?

All as above, if its cheap enough then no worries, will be a nice little car, Bit hard to sell as they depreciate rapidly.

Indeed, for when the fun stuff happens like steering rack hydraulics exploding at random due to a known design fault. Whether this was subject to a recall I don't know but it should have been.

What year, mileage, auto? All matters.
French didn't have shit together with autos and lagged behind with old fashioned 4 speeders.

If its an auto, over 100,000 is, don't touch it
