Factory stainless steel exhaust

robotnik, Dec 1, 5:21am
Is there any manufacturer which does stainless steel exhausts for its cars as standard from the factory? I think Acura in the USA may have done this in the 1990s on some models.

Most manufacturers since probably the mid 90's and maybe even a little earlier

My Commodore is stainless

Is your Commodore a V8, and is it the whole system or just the tip?

AMG. Pretty much any car worth decent coin these days probably has a stainless or semi stainless ex system.

Nah, Aluminised coatings yes but stainless I really really dont think so. Its only generally cars over 70k new that get full stainless systems on them.

Toyota Soarers (1991-1997) had stainless exhaust systems.

stainless is still a bonus on cars? I thought it would be industry standard by now.

The last few bikes Ive owned (all of which were several years old by the time I got them) have had Titanium exhausts
