Far from the truth in my experience with a 2015 manual 1.4 NZ new Swift
It reminded my of my mates twin tank Cooper S that he let me drive not enough 40 yrs ago.
I sold it & miss the serious fun drive that Swift provides. Will splash out on a new Sport T (with 3 pedals) as a second car in near future, for when I just want to go for a drive.

That's actually the best auto Swift transmission and the faster than the 1.4 regular auto the OP is looking at.
