Think my Mum bought one of the first CVT models in 2012.
I stand to be corrected, but when she went shopping they were the "new" model.

The NZ New hatches had it from the 2012 model.
The wagon had it earlier with the 1.5 litre engine, the wagon is a rebadged Fielder wagon, called the GX Corolla wagon in New Zealand. I'm pretty sure these were available from 2007 but are a really sparse, bare bones car aimed at fleet markets with expendable staff.
