Warm. Has new spark plugs. Mate has a odaseyy and it has oil on the spark part of the spark plugs and a little in the top would the top seal rings fix the issue or wil it be the big job of removing cam to get to the tiny gaskets at the bottom. I'm helping them out have basic tools so can't remove cam etc valve cover gasket and the ones that go around spark plugs on valve cover are what I'm going to do. Hope it works

Are you trying to replace the seal by going up the exhaust pipe as it sure sounds like it ? The only seals at the bottom will be the sealing washer on the sparkplug. Maybe try taking the the tappet cover off and checking the seals on there.What condition are the plug leads and coils in?

No the valve cover gasket I wil. Be changing but unsure if the lower ones under the cams I won't be touching as alot of stuff needs to be romoved the spark plugs are brand new but wet with oil
