Centre console, under the Video Inputs and Cigarette Lighter. It appears to run up and into the headunit, which is a original touchscreen one.

is that a japa import? looks like computer plug potentially was for addon radar infrared antitheft or something like that . something that was either broken and not replaced or incompatible like japan navigation in nz

Yip, Jap import. Does have Nav - but that 'works' (shows as in Japan) Appears factory, plugs up and into rear of head unit (when I was looking at the dash Lights) Headunit is a Mitsubishi manufactured one. Does show some of the hybrid economy readouts etc, so is somewhat part of the whole system.
I was wondering about iPod or USB input plug.
Doesn't have those elsewhere, but has built in Hard drive, Bluetooth, TV etc. With RCA video inputs
