Well it would certainly sound great, I like the diesel start up, also plenty of jobs for mechanics. Also the noise would drown out the greenie whingers.

you can see the volt there for a secound that is actuarly the onlz good ev as in range extender it does not drive the wheels directly like a prius it could but it dont Dr john kelly has full video on the GM'Volt system

If you look closely he is putting petrol in the Volt and the small caption top left says: The Chevy Volt is a gas-electric hybrid.
