Hi all, Enjoying all the advice and opinions on this forum. I am considering selling the above vehicle. 2009, 69,000k, two private owners. It is in excellent condition. However, I have been offered only $5000 as a trade, so question is : Should I list on here and what sort of price? Or try to sell privately. TIA.

You can get more here but does depend on model and body. A plain Jane petrol hatch or sedan is least valuable as lots from fleet market but yours has low miles which is good.

Without knowing more my gut feeling it that is a decent trade in price. I would hesitate to buy one for 5k. I'm not saying its not worth more but they have to be cheap to sell. I think an underrated car but they are worth what the market decides.

Petrol, sedan, auto and a boot for everybody lol. Plain Jane but great mags, which help. Thanks for the responses. Appreciate.

I would try listing for 7500 and see what response you get. That is a 9000 car at a dealer, I would not be accepting less than 6000 as a trade.

Offer him 6 k for it, he can buy the car he wants and have another $1000 to throw at the deal if need be.
