Im painting front front forks on my PE175 , they were sprayed black but they should be yellow , have sanded back to the bare aluminium , whats my next move ! Primer then paint ! Whats good for aluminium forks !

You need an etch for alloy or a etch and primerin one (suitable for alloy) then sand and paint as normal.

No, you spray the etch and paint straight over it. A pity you sanded all the black off because it was most likely etch primed underneath and would have served quite nicely as a substrate.

Etch primed the forks today , turns out i left some black paint on the forks and the etch reacted with it , so it put some paint stripper on it , then recoated in etch 3 times. Painting them tomorrow.
