Does anyone know of people/companies in the wellington region that can replace what I'm assuming is a bearing in my gearbox!
It started whining after replacing an axle, so that could also be a problem.
Any help greatly appreciated.

wellington automotive gearbox specialists is wellingtons main manual gearbox rebuilders. Those gearboxs share the same internals as the old mazda gtx gearboxs and are not known for there strenght

Thanks, will try him and see what the cost is, Do the gtx boxes share the same ratios, and bolt holes!
Would it be easier to replace it with a refurbished gtx box!
